Lambda DNA

Description Lambda DNA is used as a substrate in restriction enzyme research and in the testing of restriction endonuclease activity. Phage is isolated from a heat-inducible lysogenic E.coli W3110 (c/857 sam7 strain) DNA is isolated from purified phage by phenol extraction and dialyzed against 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.6) and 1mM EDTA. It has a molecular weight of 31.5×106 daltons and contains 48502 base pairs
Storage Buffer 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.6) and 1mM EDTA
Quality Control Gel analysis for purity and homogeneity of Alw21l, Cpol and
HindIII fragmentation patterns
Concentration 0.3mg DNA/ml
